SKYCITY proud to receive the Gender Tick

SKYCITY has been awarded the Gender Tick in recognition of its commitment to providing a fair workplace for all employees.

Gender Tick is a New Zealand-based accreditation for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to gender equality in the workplace. The programme assesses organisations across five key indicators including gender inclusive culture, flexibility and leave, women in leadership, gender pay equality and ensuring a safe workplace.

SKYCITY is one of six companies in New Zealand to receive this accreditation which is an important step in its diversity and inclusion journey.

Claire Walker, Group General Manager Human Resources, says that being among the first businesses to receive Gender Tick certification is an important validation of SKYCITY’s workplace, as well as a challenge to continually improve in all areas.

“We are looking forward to the opportunity to work with other businesses and specialists to share knowledge, ideas and best practice to keep us all moving forward on this journey.
