SERVED returns to SkyCity with its first ever progressive dinner and global Chef collaborations
SERVED is back at SkyCity for its second series, launching 1 October 2025.
The two-month culinary celebration will see food lovers’ journey from Tokyo to Mumbai, New York to the Pacific, all without ever leaving the city.
SkyCity General Manager of Hospitality, David Allott, says, “Last year SERVED was a huge success, with five sell-out events. This year, we’re taking it to the next level, celebrating the incredible diversity of our precinct and teaming up with chefs from around the world to deliver progressive dinners and international collaborations.”
On 30 September, the series will kick off with SkyCity’s first ever progressive dinner that will take guests on a global culinary journey. This exclusive event spans three award-winning SkyCity restaurants; MASU by Nic Watt, Metita by Michael Meredith, and Cassia by Sid Sahrawat. Each stop delivers a signature savoury course, premium wine pairing and hosted by some of New Zealand's favourite foodies.
On 9 October, MASU proudly welcomes back Krish Dutt, Head Chef and co-owner of Adelaide’s acclaimed Tunki, for a special reunion dinner alongside his mentor, Nic Watt. Together, the chef duo will craft a five-course collaborative menu, blending MASU’s iconic Japanese flavours with Tunki’s vibrant Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian) style. The experience includes a Roku beverage pairing and a special jar of Krish Dutt’s signature Magic sauce for guests to take home.
In late October, Fed Deli injects the vibrant energy of New York into SkyCity with an indulgent, no-holds-barred deli night. Chef Al Brown puts his own spin on iconic NYC comfort foods; think hoagie’s, juicy sliders, and classic New York–style desserts. This gritty, unapologetic celebration of NYC soul brings bold, brash flavours straight from the backstreets of Manhattan.
On 28 October, savour a trans-Tasman feast with ‘The Grill: Wild at Heart’, where wild game is perfectly paired with bold Australian wines. This special nose-to-tail menu showcases Aotearoa’s finest produce alongside some of Australia’s most intense and richly flavoured wines. Hailing from the Barossa Valley, Torbreck Vintners is renowned for its ancient, dry-grown vines. Joined by head winemaker Sacha Timaeus from Adelaide, guests will be expertly guided through thoughtful wine pairings with each course.
Allott says, “Following last year's success, we’ve created a new series of events that bring people together for exceptional experiences. More events and details will be announced shortly, so whether you’re a regular or a first timer, there’s something for everyone in SERVED Series 2.”
Each SkyCity bar and restaurant will also be offering cocktails from just $18 and set menus from $70.
