Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s much-loved Santa’s Grotto has found its new home at the Sky Tower, and this Christmas, SkyCity is on the hunt for 30 merry helpers to bring the twinkle, joy, and wonder of Santa’s Magical Wonderland to life. 

Do you have a heart that jingles with festive cheer, a smile that shines as bright as Christmas lights, and a love for all things peppermint and pine? Do glittering wings, or cheeky Elf ears fill you with the Christmas spirit? Then Santa wants YOU to join his merry band of Christmas Ambassadors. 

About the role: 
Step into the Sky Tower’s winter wonderland of twinkling lights, joyful laughter, and the sweet scent of gingerbread as you become the magical face of SkyCity’s ticketed Santa’s Magical Wonderland. Whether you’re a mischievous Elf, a shimmering Fairy, or another festive character, you’ll be welcoming families with warmth and wonder, creating magical moments that will sparkle in their hearts forever.  

Beyond the gates of wonderland, you’ll sprinkle festive cheer throughout SkyCity, handing out Christmas treats, guiding merry guests, and keeping the holiday spirit glowing. 

Who we’re looking for: 

• A natural-born performer with a heart full of Christmas joy and sparkling energy 

• Someone who embraces festive costumes, glitter, and spreading Christmas cheer far and wide 

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, events, or working with kids is a bonus, but what truly matters is your passion for Christmas magic 
• Available from now through to December 24th, ready to sleigh the season with us
