Metita Hero 5

SERVED returns to SkyCity Auckland from 1 October with two months of global dining experiences, including special events led by chefs Nic Watt, Michael Meredith and Al Brown.

Running until 30 November, SERVED brings together flavours from Japan, China, the Pacific and Aotearoa, all without leaving Auckland.

Across eleven SkyCity restaurants and bars, the programme will feature exclusive menus, chef collaborations and special events.

“SERVED is about giving people the chance to eat global while staying local. There’s a huge variety of dishes and experiences across SkyCity Auckland, and this is a chance to showcase the chefs and restaurants behind them,” said Liz Burrett, SkyCity’s Head of Marketing, Hospitality.

This year’s programme includes five exclusive events, cocktails from $20 and the chance to win a $5,000 travel voucher to Japan, thanks to the House of Suntory.

Highlights include:

  • Three Sixty SERVED at Orbit 360° (6 October): Nic Watt of MASU, Michael Meredith of Metita and Al Brown of Depot each create a course for a progressive three-course dinner high above Auckland. As Orbit revolves, the menu moves from Japan to the Pacific, before finishing in New Zealand. Tickets are $149 per person, and include a three-course menu with a cocktail on arrival.
  • Omakase Experience at MASU (8, 15, 22 and 29 October, and 5, 12, 19 November): Just ten diners take a seat at the counter for a seven-course experience with Nic Watt. Each dish unfolds one after another, each one thoughtfully composed to showcase the best ingredients of the season. Tickets are $188 per person.
  • At the Table with Trinity Hill, at The Grill (19 November): The Grill teams up with Trinity Hill for a special dining experience built on provenance, patience and respect for the land. The winemakers themselves will be pouring and sharing the story behind every glass.

Restaurants and bars across the precinct will also serve special SERVED menus throughout October and November, alongside a selection of $20 cocktails created with the House of Suntory.

Diners can also take part in the SERVED Dining Passport for the chance to win a $5,000 travel voucher to Japan.
