To acknowledge and support the devastating bushfires that swept Australia, SkyCity Entertainment Group hosted fundraising activities across its Auckland, Adelaide and Hamilton sites, raising over $55,000 for the South Australia Country Fire Service (CFS) Foundation.
To acknowledge and support the devastating bushfire crisis sweeping Australia, on Sunday 26 January, all proceeds generated from Sky Tower admissions will go to the South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS) Foundation.
Over the last two months, a team of contractors and SkyCity staff have been busy changing the external lightbulbs on the Sky Tower to LED, supporting SkyCity’s climate change commitment to reduce carbon emissions from the Sky Towers lighting by 10%.
To acknowledge the considerable efforts of the fire and emergency services teams that assisted with the New Zealand International Convention Centre fire, all revenue generated from Sky Tower admissions on Sunday 17 November will be donated to Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand.
The Sky Tower will be lit from Wednesday 9 October to Sunday 13 October alongside the Auckland Harbour Bridge, Auckland Museum and Viaduct Harbour for the city’s most colourful cultural festival, celebrating traditional and contemporary Indian culture.
