SKYCITY Hamilton recognised in Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards

The SKYCITY Hamilton team was recently named finalists in four award categories in the Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards.

Michelle Baillie, GM SKYCITY Hamilton and Brett Morris, Head of Marketing, were named in two individual award categories of CEO of the Year and Emerging Leader of the Year respectively. SKYCITY Hamilton was also named in two wider categories, Strategy, Planning and Governance, and Marketing.

SKYCITY Hamilton's General Manager Michelle Baillie is proud of what the team have achieved.

"As a leadership team, we have been very clear on our strategy for growth, and Brett and the marketing team have done a great job, particularly with the recent launch of Bowl and Social. It's pleasing to be recognised for our successes and hard work alongside other fantastic businesses in the Waikato."

The Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards recognise the Waikato’s best businesses and business people.

The CEO of the Year category recognises leaders who demonstrate exemplary leadership, the ability to develop a strategy for long-term growth and determination to drive related events.

The Emerging Leader of the Year category recognises emerging leaders who have made significant contributions to an organisation.

The strategy, planning and governance awards recognise organisations which have developed a longer term strategy and set business targets that have been fundamental to business success.

The marketing category recognises organisations that can show a successful marketing project where research was used to validate performance such as increasing customer loyalty, retention, satisfaction, profitability and/or brand awareness.

The winners will be announced on 3 November 2017.
