Warning: Loyalty Program Phone Scam

SKYCITY Darwin is warning people against a phone scam selling memberships to its Action loyalty program.
SKYCITY Darwin General Manager Andrew Wilson says “We have had a number of people phone us to verify if this is a legitimate offer, which it is not. Our Action loyalty program membership is free!”
The callers are allegedly offering membership and a bundle of complimentary vouchers in return for a fee to be paid immediately on credit card. If the person does not have a credit card, the caller hangs up immediately.
Mr Wilson thanked those people who have rung to let us know, “Thanks to these people we can let everyone know this is a scam, and we have reported the situation to the Northern Territory Police”.
