Three new dining experiences onsite for Festive Season
SKYCITY is serving up three new sensational dining experiences this summer to add to its already extensive range of food and beverage offerings at its 18 bars and restaurants across the site. SKYCITY is committed to investing in innovative, exciting new products to reaffirm its position as the beacon of entertainment at the heart of Auckland City.
Rebo relaunched Alfresco
Leading the way in SKYCITY’s summer rejuvenation is the re-launch of its flagship eatery, Rebo, which has undergone extensive renovations and a taste overhaul of the menu offers to now give customers a relaxing indoor or alfesco dining experience. The all new Rebo, positioned at the entrance of the main atrium of SKYCITY, will offer diners a sophisticated atmosphere where they can enjoy a menu with a Mediterranean feel, one based on fresh, locally sourced and grown products for everything from its salt & pepper squid to the wood-fired pizzas. Rebo’s new head chef, Shilo Henare, has created signature dishes that make Rebo a memorable experience for all, from the only ‘Breakfast Benedict Pizza’ in town to the Clevedon Valley buffalo mozzarella pizza. Rebo is also the perfect destination for a pre-or post theatre drink in the evening, with an extensive wine and beer selection available all day.
The Highest ‘High Tea’ in the Land
Adding a twist to the traditional, SKYCITY is now offering the ‘Highest High Tea in the land’. From 28 November, ‘High Tea in Orbit’ will be served every Saturday and Sunday from 2.30pm in SKYCITY’s premium Orbit Restaurant at the top of the world famous Sky Tower. High Tea will be served kiwiana style with a delicious mix of delicacies such as lamingtons, chocolate dipped strawberries and cold-smoked Akaroa salmon sandwiches. The afternoon delight will include an exquisitely prepared range of exotic teas and espresso coffee, with a range of bubbles and wines also on offer. Included with High Tea is a complimentary Sky Tower visit and free car parking. This product will extend past summer and be offered year round.
Grand Summer Buffet at The Terrace
Terrace Restaurant at the Grand Hotel will be the place to be on warm summer evenings from 4 December. SKYCITY launches ‘The Grand Summer Buffet at The Terrace’ with dining every night of the week from 5.30pm. Premium five-star buffet with elegant alfresco dining will be complimented with fresh cooked to order meat and seafood, enticing summer cocktails and the very best New Zealand wines.
