SKYCITY welcomes back Convene Auckland 2010

SKYCITY Auckland is proud to host Convene Auckland 2010 at the SKYCITY Convention Centre for the third year running.
The SKYCITY Convention Centre is located right in the heart of Auckland City and includes two levels of dedicated conferencing, exhibition and banqueting space totalling 5,370m². It has 21 separate conference rooms, theatre-style capacity for 1,500 or banquet capacity form 1,200 guests. The SKYCITY Convention Centre also has specialized convention kitchen catering facilities and is linked to the SKYCITY Auckland Hotel and leisure complex by an air-bridge over Federal Street.
Convene Auckland showcases function, meeting and event facilities in the greater Auckland area (from Northland to Waikato) to buyers from New Zealand and Australia. The exhibition allows anyone who organises corporate events to source a diverse range of products and services under one roof.
SKYCITY Auckland will also be providing for the first time the SKYCITY Auckland Breakfast and Debate which is to take place immediately before the exhibition doors open on 20 April. Panelists will be introduced by MC Greg Ward and the debate will adjudicated by Meeting Newz editor Stu Freeman. Panelists will include Peter Zileke from SKYCITY Convention Centre; Paul Walker, Convention Services NZ; Alan Trotter, Conventions and Incentives NZ; Ali Rodgers, Millennium Hotels & Resorts; Liz Maxwell, ESP Ventures; Stu Robinson, Orange Group; Sam Bridgman, CarboNZero and a representative from Air New Zealand.
SKYCITY will also be providing the catering for the conference including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a exhibitor get-together.

Convene Auckland 2010 will take place on Tuesday 20 April 2010 from 9:00am until 5:00pm on Level 4 of the SKYCITY Convention Centre.
