New appointments and promotions at SKYCITY Auckland

Gaming
• Ejaaz Dean has been promoted from Executive Manager Tables Games Auckland to General Manager Casino Operations Auckland.  Ejaaz will now oversee the entire operations side of the SKYCITY Casino including both Table Games and Gaming Machines.  Ejaaz also retains his position as President of International Business. 

Food and Beverage
• Warren Bias has been appointed to the role of Executive Manager, Conventions and Out-Catering. This also includes SKYCITY’s operation at the Auckland International Airport’s Koru Lounge. Warren will be responsible for not only running the Auckland Convention business but also the operations and development of our out-catering business in Auckland City. Warren had significant involvement in the setup of the SKYCITY Convention Centre and prior experience successfully operating that part of the business. 

• SKYCITY Auckland’s Executive Chef, Mark Wylie has been promoted to the position of Director of Kitchens at SKYCITY Auckland. Mark’s role includes overseeing 310 staff, which is made up of 220 chefs and 90 kitchen hands over SKYCITY’s 19 kitchens. SKYCITY’s 19 kitchens prepare a diverse range of food and beverages, ranging from meat pies to high class dining at dine by Peter Gordon in the SKYCITY Grand Hotel.

• Dheeren Inamke has been appointed to the role of Restaurants Manager, SKYCITY Casino. Dheeren will provide oversight and operational support to the managers of Rebo, Jade Dragon, Fortuna and SKYCITY’s Main Gaming Floor restaurants.

• Julie Woodyear-Smith has been appointed to the role of Restaurants Manager, Sky Tower. Julie will provide oversight and operational support to the managers of Observatory, Orbit and Sky Lounge. 

Finance
• Gordon Trainer has been promoted to the position of General Manager of Finance for SKYCITY Auckland and will now look after the financial structure and delivery for SKYCITY’s Auckland property.

Hotels
• Callum Mallet has been promoted to the role of Executive Manager, SKYCITY Hotels.  After successfully building hotels occupancy Callum will take additional responsibility for the day to day operations and sales for both properties – the five star SKYCITY Grand Hotel and the four and a half star SKYCITY Hotel.
