About Lee Nelson
Nelson is a trained US MD who moved to New Zealand in 1994 and is now a New Zealand Citizen and calls it home. He has always played poker in his spare time and has retired from medicine to focus on his hobby more closely.

Lee ‘Final Table’ Nelson has played all over the poker globe. The moniker ‘Final Table’ came from a poker manager who said "You make the final table so often that you're like final table furniture." The ‘final table’ part stuck. He has remained a leader in tournament poker, a TV personality and author of many poker books. He is also a great ambassador to the sport of poker for the Australasian region around the world.
